Founded on June 30, 1980, the Rotary Club of Marbel began as an initiative of the Rotary Club of Koronadal under PP Rey Tolosa. Led by Charter President Gerardo Calaliman, the club set out to make a lasting difference in the City of Koronadal and beyond.
For over four decades, our members—leaders in their fields—have dedicated their time, talents, and resources to improve lives. Key initiatives include:
- Medical, dental, and surgical missions
- Literacy programs and feeding drives
- Anti-bullying campaigns and career orientation
- Support for the school for the deaf and Adopt-a-Day Care Centers
- Tree planting, coastal clean-ups, and water supply projects
In 2024, we installed a water purifier in local schools, and in 2025, we launched Project Agos 1 and 2 to expand safe water access.
Our club proudly nurtures youth leadership through Rotaract and Interact clubs and has built strong sisterhood ties with Rotary Clubs in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
We’ve earned multiple honors, including the Rotary International Citation and recognition as a Paul Harris Fellow Club.
Together, we remain committed to Rotary’s mission – to inspire, uplift, and transform lives.
